Lagoa and Carvoeiro are two of the Algarve's most enchanting destinations, combining idyllic beaches, stunning landscapes and a rich cultural heritage. Located in the western Algarve, these places offer a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, attracting visitors looking for relaxation, adventure and good food.

Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro, a coastal village belonging to the municipality of Lagoa, is a dream destination for those who enjoy the sea and the golden cliffs. Praia do Carvoeiro, surrounded by white houses that climb the hillside, is one of the most picturesque in the region. The Passadiço do Carvoeiro, which passes Algar Seco, offers an unforgettable stroll between rock formations and panoramic views of the ocean. For nature lovers, the Alfanzina Lighthouse is a great place to admire the sunset over the cliffs.

Ferragudo

Ferragudo, one of the Algarve's most charming villages, is located at the Foz do Rio Arade  and offers a picturesque and authentic atmosphere. This destination is considered a fisherman’s village, where the fisherman go fishing during the dawn of each day and by lunch time the freshest fish is being served in the many traditional local Portuguese restaurants near the water. Its narrow streets and white houses decorated with flowers create a charming setting. As we like to call it, Ferragudo is our little version of Greece. The town is also known for its stunning beaches, such as Praia da Angrinha and Praia Grande , ideal for families due to its calm waters. On the seafront of Praia da Angrinha is the Castelo de São João do Arade , an ancient 16th century fortress that is well worth seeing.

Lagoa

Lagoa, a city with ancient origins, stands out for its historical heritage and excellent quality wines. Among its most famous attractions is Quinta dos Vales , one of the region's best-known wineries, where you can taste local wines. The Convento de São José , a historic building transformed into a cultural center, offers exhibitions and events throughout the year. For those looking for family fun, Slide & Splash is one of the Algarve's most famous water parks.
